Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs) Outbreak Management Department
The Healthcare-Associated Infection (HAI) Outbreak and Rapid Response Team (RRT) in the General Directorate of Infection Prevention and Control (GDIPC), monitors and follows the outbreaks that appear in healthcare facilities among all regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The program aims to identify, track, and respond to healthcare-associated infections in healthcare facilities, using approved GDIPC forms and scientific methods that were developed to facilitate the HAIs outbreaks notification, investigation, and management effectively.
