Healthcare-Associated Outbreak Management and Rapid Response Team Department
The Healthcare-Associated Outbreaks Management & Rapid Response Team (RRT) Department in the General Directorate of Infection Prevention and Control (GDIPC), monitors and follows the outbreaks that may appear in healthcare facilities among all regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The program aims to work to identify, track, and respond to healthcare-associated infections in healthcare facilities, using approved GDIPC forms and scientific methods that were developed to facilitate documentation of outbreak notification, investigation, and management.
